Kaze Hikarua

In 1863, during a tumultuous period of social unrest, samurai from various backgrounds gathered in Kyoto with the desire to join the MibuRoshi, a group of warriors bound by their unwavering allegiance to the Shogunate. This organization would eventually become known as the Shinsengumi, one of the most renowned and influential movements in Japanese history. In 2003, Kaze Hikaru was recognized with the Shogakukan Manga Award in the shoujo category.
