Seikon no Qwaser

There is an intense battle happening within the Orthodox Church on Mount Athos. Two ancient groups, Athos and Adept, have been engaged in a never-ending conflict for thousands of years. They believe that nothing is off-limits and will use any means necessary to gain control of the Circuits. This includes using faith, politics, hired assassins, and even the feared Qwasers – zealous followers who consume holy breast milk from chosen women to perform violent miracles. Aleksandr Hel, a young Qwaser raised by Athos, is sent to Japan to eliminate a growing group of heretics. However, he meets Oribe Mafuyu and Yamanobe Tomo, two girls who possess knowledge beyond their years. Their presence causes Aleksandr to question his motives for fighting and ultimately leads them all into a dangerous secret war.
